‘HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE’ sorry so very late!!! Here at Jigsaw God continues to work incredibly in difficult situations. The big news is two new buildings.

The first is in Batasan it’s amazing. After the demolition there last year we wondered if we would ever work there again and this week there we were with our first 0-6 kids club. There were 105 smiling and happy little faces and over thirty mums and dads. FANTASTIC. Thanks to God and thanks for your prayers.

The second new building is in Visayas Avenue. We already have a great building there but needed more space to start the literacy classes. We prayed and the building next door came for rent, its now being painted and we move in next week. It may seem like we pray and it just happens, not always!! We had prayed and looked for our first building for more than a year and nothing came up, now two together. Gods timing is perfect and his power is awesome!!! BASKETBALL & CARPENTRY
Basketball was and is great with a group of street boys from Visayas Avenue. The problem was that it wasn’t leading anywhere, we really prayed, we loved these kids so much and their life was getting worse and worse. Andrew the Father of Kate was coming out for a six week visit, his history of teaching apprentices in the Air force brought up the idea of a 4 week carpentry course. It was planned and with a lot of hard work and patience Andrew and Jigsaw worker Roland put the project into action.

HIDDEN TALLENTS
It was hard work. Andrew and Roland came up with the idea that they would teach the kids carpentry skills through a project to make bagatelle marble games. ~they planned so carefully everything ready. We handed out invitations, made schedules all set to go. First class no turned up. Wow so frustrating. By the end of the session there were three of the 10 we had invited. Three sessions a week saw such improvements but still we had to wake the kids up at eleven in the morning to attend but slowly the attendance went up until all the boys we had invited began to attend, bleary eyed and dragging them off the street, but attending. It was hard but the magic of God, His Love and the deep, deep skills and talents of the boys started to unravel.
